Our plates are made from two natural materials: areca palm leaf (pressed from naturally fallen fronds with heat and pressure only) and sugarcane bagasse (the fibrous pulp left after sugarcane juice extraction). No plastic lining, glue, or chemical bleaching.

Are the plates heat and oil resistant?

Yes. Palm leaf plates withstand heat up to 120°C and are naturally oil and moisture resistant. Bagasse plates are sturdy for both hot and cold food service.

Are they microwave and freezer safe?

Bagasse plates are microwave and freezer safe. Palm leaf plates are best suited to ambient and cold service rather than microwave use, given their natural fiber construction.

How long do the plates take to compost?

Palm leaf plates are home compostable within a few weeks. Bagasse plates are industrially compostable within roughly 90 days.

What's the minimum order quantity?

Palm leaf plates start from 25 pieces per case; bagasse plates start from 50 pieces per case. Custom branding is available with low minimum order quantities — get in touch for details.
