What are Natudine bowls made from?
Our bowls are made from three natural materials: areca palm leaf, sugarcane bagasse, and kraft paper. No plastic lining, glue, or chemical bleaching in the palm leaf and bagasse ranges.
Are the bowls leak-proof for soups and sauces?
Bagasse and kraft paper bowls are designed to hold liquids for standard service times. For hot soups and long holding times we recommend the bagasse range, which is more moisture-resistant than palm leaf.
Are they microwave and freezer safe?
Bagasse bowls are microwave and freezer safe. Palm leaf bowls are best suited to ambient and cold service rather than microwave use, given their natural fiber construction.
How long do the bowls take to compost?
Palm leaf bowls are home compostable within a few weeks. Bagasse and kraft paper bowls are industrially compostable within roughly 90 days.
What's the minimum order quantity?
Palm leaf bowls start from 25 pieces per case; bagasse and kraft paper bowls start from 50 pieces per case. Custom branding is available with low minimum order quantities — get in touch for details.
