What are Natudine meal plates made from?
Our meal plates are made from two natural materials: areca palm leaf (pressed from naturally fallen fronds with heat and pressure only) and sugarcane bagasse (the fibrous pulp left after sugarcane juice extraction). No plastic lining, glue, or chemical bleaching.
Why choose a compartment plate?
Compartment plates keep different dishes separated — ideal for buffet-style service, catering, canteens, and takeaway meals where sauces or sides shouldn't mix with the main course.
Are they heat and oil resistant?
Yes. Palm leaf plates withstand heat up to 120°C and are naturally oil and moisture resistant. Bagasse plates are sturdy for both hot and cold food service and are microwave safe.
How long do they take to compost?
Palm leaf plates are home compostable within a few weeks. Bagasse plates are industrially compostable within roughly 90 days.
What's the minimum order quantity?
Palm leaf compartment plates start from 25 pieces per case; bagasse meal plates start from 50 pieces per case. Custom branding is available with low minimum order quantities — get in touch for details.
