What are Natudine serving platters made from?
Our platters are made from two natural materials: areca palm leaf (pressed from naturally fallen fronds with heat and pressure only) and sugarcane bagasse (the fibrous pulp left after sugarcane juice extraction). No plastic lining, glue, or chemical bleaching.
Are the platters sturdy enough for sharing dishes?
Yes. Palm leaf platters are rigid and hold their shape under the weight of sharing dishes, and are naturally oil and moisture resistant — ideal for buffet and event service.
Are they heat and oil resistant?
Yes. Palm leaf platters withstand heat up to 120°C. Bagasse trays are sturdy for both hot and cold food service.
How long do they take to compost?
Palm leaf platters are home compostable within a few weeks. Bagasse trays are industrially compostable within roughly 90 days.
What's the minimum order quantity?
Palm leaf platters start from 25 pieces per case; bagasse trays start from 50 pieces per case. Custom branding is available with low minimum order quantities — get in touch for details.
